Description
Every business is at risk of cyber attack. Small businesses are most at risk for cyber attack because they are not aware of the cyber threats that exist for their small business. Learn best practices for protecting your small business and talk to a panel of cyber security experts.
"Small Business, Big Threat" is an initiative developed by Michigan SBDC, U.S. Small Business Administration, and MEDC for use by entrepreneurs and small businesses, to help them be more aware of and defensive to cyber security threats through assessment, training, best practices, and related topics. There is no cost for the workshop but advance registration is required.
The "Cyber Security 101" course is designed to help you assess your cyber security: This no-cost assessment and education tool may enable you to further protect your small business from cyber threats. The assessment was written for small business team members who are non-technical and will take 25-35 minutes to complete. It can be paused and returned to at a later time (if within 2 days).
