Understanding Lean Principles & Techn...
Description
Management and shop-floor personnel are invited to attend this training led by the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center.
The condensed 4-hour simulation training will help participants understand how lean philosophy and techniques can be applied to maximize customer value, minimize waste, and reduce costs through workplace organization and visual controls, cellular manufacturing and one-piece flow, quality at the source, and pull scheduling. This simulation gives participants a basic understanding of how Lean principles, when effectively applied, can impact their companies.
This event is hosted by the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.
Event is free, but registration is required. Space is limited to 15 people.
A light lunch will be served.
