Join the Flint River Watershed Coalition and For-Mar Nature Preserve for a unique nature tour along the Flint River that winds from rural to urban. This 2 1/2-hour paddle will begin at the Bray Road launch and end at Vietnam Veterans Park in Flint. A river guide from the FRWC and a naturalist from For-Mar will join the trip and assist in identifying all the wildlife along the way. This perspective of the Flint River is not often seen. Pre-registration is required by August 3rd by calling Jaime at (810) 767-7140 or email at jwelch@flintriver.org. Float/Paddle: Bray Road, just north of Carpenter Road. Cost includes guides, shuttling, water and snacks, sunscreen, bug spray and insurance. Most trips are suitable for ages 10 and up. Limited space and kayak rentals available.
