It’s time for the Funtown Chowdown, Frankenmuth’s Annual Food Truck Festival at Frankenmuth River Place Shops! The fun takes place in the parking lot east of the shopping complex on the second Thursday of the month starting in May: May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, and September 9. In 2021, each festival will feature around 20 trucks from across Michigan with a variety of cuisine and desserts, live music, craft beer and non-alcoholic beverage sales, designated handicap parking area, and additional activities for families. River Place Shops requires all guests to wear a mask to enter any enclosed spaces at the shopping complex or throughout Frankenmuth. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the complex, along with both indoor and outdoor bathrooms.
