Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad - Living as the Past

Travel back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler. Crossroads Village is a Great Lakes town from the turn of the century with 34 historic structures and a thriving community. Enjoy a 40-minute journey on an authentic Baldwin Steam locomotive, the Huckleberry Railroad, take a scenic ride on the Genesee Belle, a replica of the paddlewheel riverboats that were popular during Mark Twain's time, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of the village's craftspeople. Today, come dressed as your favorite 19th Century icon and celebrate "Living as the Past." There will be period costumed guests on display, a costume contest, make and take crafts and more. It is recommended that Huckleberry Railroad train tickets by purchased in advance as the train often sells out.
